Check-in at the spa was quick and hassle-free. The luggage storage was excellent. The facility itself was also excellent. By mistake, my children entered the Elysium area and then left immediately; I reported this to the front desk, and they waived the charge. Everything was fine—well done!

A really well-organized and engaging guided tour. The guide was knowledgeable, clear in their explanations, and never boring, able to adapt to the group and answer questions competently. The itinerary was interesting and well-structured, with just the right amount of time and explanations that added value to the places visited. An experience recommended for those who want to get to know the place in depth but in a pleasant way.

This is definitely worth a visit! The palace is impressive from the outside, but it really shines on the inside. It’s a must-see if you’re in Bucharest. The whole experience was made even more enjoyable by Matteo, our guide: young, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and down-to-earth.

Inside the Palace of Parliament

Human Rights Hall

The Human Rights Hall is one of the most aesthetic halls within the Palace of Parliament. Built to conduct meetings of the executive political committee of the Communist Party during Nicolae Ceaușescu’s reign, it features a 60-seater round table, long pastel-colored curtains, stylish interiors, and the second-largest chandelier in the parliament palace. It’s a grand and impressive room, offering a glimpse into Romania’s political history.

Union Hall

Enter the expansive Union Hall, the largest within the Palace of Parliament. Stretching over 2200 square meters, its vastness is matched only by its intriguing history. Notice the towering arches meant to display portraits of Ceaușescu and his wife, a plan that never came to fruition. Legend has it that Ceaușescu even envisioned a retractable roof for helicopter landings—an extravagant touch to an already monumental space.

Take Ionescu Hall

Step into the Take Ionescu Hall, boasting magnificent architecture. Characterized by towering pillars, elaborate arches, and opulent interiors, this hall is particularly intriguing due to its acoustics, designed to enhance the grandeur of events during Ceaușescu's era. Imagine the resounding applause as Ceaușescu was welcomed during special occasions, reverberating through the hall's splendid chambers.

Nicolae Titulescu Hall

The Nicolae Titulescu Hall exudes elegance with its French-inspired architecture and sumptuous decor. Currently serving as the venue for official meetings presided over by the President of the Senate and the President of the Chamber of Deputies, this hall boasts soaring arches, tall curtains, a beautiful pink carpet, and an exquisite chandelier that casts a warm glow over the proceedings.

Alexandru Ioan Cuza Hall

Boasting the highest ceiling in the Parliament House of Bucharest, the Alexandru Ioan Cuza Hall offers stunning views of Unirii Boulevard from its balcony. What adds a quirky twist to its history is the fact that Ceaușescu wasn't the first to address the crowd from here; that honor belongs to global icon Michael Jackson. To this day, Jackson remains the only person to address a crowd from the balcony.

National Museum of Contemporary Art

The Palace of Parliament Bucharest is home to the National Museum of Contemporary Art or MNAC. Located in the new glass wing of the Romanian Parliament building, the museum showcases paintings, sculptures, and many other artistic expressions crafted by emerging talents as well as established artists. It is a must visit in Romania for every art enthusiast.
