Amazing day at Therme. Loads to do there to keep you entertained all day and also plenty of places to just lounge and relax. Food in the restaurant area was fresh, plentiful and reasonably priced. Lovely cocktails from the pool bar and loved sitting on the bar stools in the pool to enjoy them. 12 hours there and the time just flew by.

5,000 storage cabinets impressed us. We found knowledgeable young people to always point us to what we needed. Architecture of the facility superb! Water pleasantly not cold. Food in the restaurant with international cuisine excellent. Quiet and polite public. Sunbeds and seating for all tastes: although we have traveled a lot, we had never seen such an extensive center: it left us speechless. Thank you for this initiative!

Weekday vs weekend

  • Therme Bucuresti has become one of Bucharest’s must-do experiences and attracts large crowds, both locals and tourists alike. It sees a higher footfall on weekends, so it’s best to visit on weekdays, preferably Monday to Thursday.
  • On weekdays, visitor numbers increase towards the afternoon and evening, so reach the spa early in the morning for a relaxed and crowd-free experience.

Peak season vs off-peak season

  • Weather-wise, the summer months from June to August are the best to enjoy the thermal pools and water activities at Therme Bucharest. But these months are also the most crowded as this is the peak season and the city receives a large influx of tourists.
  • The optimal time to visit the spa is during the off-peak season months of April to May and September to October. While the weather is cooler in spring and autumn, all the thermal pools at the facility are maintained at 33°C throughout the year, allowing you to enjoy them throughout the year. It is also less crowded as compared to the peak summer season.
  • The low season winter months from November to March are the quietest time of the year at Therme Bucharest. With many of its key facilities being indoors, this is an ideal time to visit for a crowd-free experience.
