The salt mines were good,but I would have liked a little time to have a look around the little market stalls,obviously locals so it would have been nice to buy souvenirs.the guide wasn't very informative.

The salt mine was impressive. I loved all the information provided by our tour guide (Rodiga I think was her name). She gave us information not only about the salt mine but about romanian history and the city of Bucharest too. She spoke very good english and she answered all our questions. The tour was excellent and well-organized. The bus was clean and punctual. Our guide, Sonia, was fantastic! She provided a detailed explanation of the itinerary and ensured everyone understood the meeting point and return time. During the drive to the salt mine, she shared interesting information about the historic buildings we passed and the city's history. We also requested a favor on the return trip, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. I highly recommend this tour!

Apart from initial misdirection to the meeting point, the trip was comfortable, the driver/guide was knowledgeable, helpful and able to field all questions thrown at him. The mine itself was most impressive and the staff are well trained in moving the maximum number of visitors in the minimum of time. All in all, a very smooth operation.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The whole atmosphere was completely insane, it was the highlight of our holiday. We would definitely come back just for the spa. The facilities were amazing, it was so lovely to relax. It's a shame the massages sold out so quickly but we were so happy with how extensive the itinerary was and all the different activities offered that it really made up for missing a massive slot!

We had a great time at Therme in Bucharest (spending 11 hours there in total). From the food and drink to the saunas and relaxing areas, we loved it! The only downside was the fact we didn't make it in time to reserve a treatment slot (even though we joined the queue by 10:30). I would advise to get there early if you really want a massage! We went on a Thursday in May half term and, although busy, wasn't overcrowded - didn't really have to queue or wait for anything. I would definitely recommend going on a week day if you can. All in all, we had a fantastic experience and would recommend to anyone.

This place is so under rated, there's nothing more we could have asked for, all the details are so thought through, it is everything & more! I spent half my time there looking for anything that available to use or even somewhere to sit. All the saunas and relaxation beds were constantly in use or overcrowded. The loungers were mainly empty but covered with people's stuff so unavailable. Not relaxing or remotely enjoyable trudging around trying to find something unless outside which was too cold in March. Lovely place but disorganised and unwelcoming. Enjoyed the last few hours before flight as it was a bit emptier.

Your Experience of the Salt Mine will begin at 8:30 AM and end at 3:30 PM.
Depending on your ticket, transfers may be included. However, If you choose to reach the mine on your own, this is how you can:
- The mine is located about 100 km north of Bucharest, the capital of Romania, and you can reach the mine by car, bus, or train.
- By Car: you can take the A1 motorway from Bucharest to Ploiesti, then follow the DN1 road to Valenii de Munte and then the DJ102 road to Slanic. The journey takes about 2 hours.
- By Bus: you can take one of the daily buses from Bucharest to Slanic that depart from Autogara Militari or Autogara Obor. The journey takes about 3 hours and costs about 25 RON (about 5 EUR) per person.
- By Train: you can take one of the daily trains from Bucharest to Slanic that depart from Gara de Nord. The journey takes about 2.5 hours and costs about 15 RON (about 3 EUR) per person. From the Slanic train station, you can take a taxi or a local bus to the mine.
- The mine has a parking lot, a souvenir shop, a medical center, and toilets.
- The mine also has a planetarium where you can watch short films about outer space.
- Parts of the mine have free Wi-Fi access for visitors.
- The mine has lockers where you can store your belongings for a small fee.
- The mine is wheelchair accessible and has ramps and elevators for people with disabilities.

In our trip it was a destination that we had fixed to visit, it had been described as crowded, small, little to see and for us it was the opposite, we went early to take advantage of our vacation in other areas to leave and people accumulate later. They let you see practically the whole castle and the extra price (tunnel and t*rturamient*s) is not expensive at all and worth seeing and reading the history of each one. The outside is very nice and spacious and full of stalls and many cheaper than inside with the same products for sale....

The places, the guide who made himself available.
I did not like the change of plans from the tickets for the castles that we had paid for and booked and instead we were told the day before that it was no longer possible to enter the castles with those tickets that we would have to redo them on our own and in fact we did not find a place in Peles but in Pelisiov.
The 'bus that was previously supposed to pick us up at the hotel no longer came and we also learned this the day before.

The mansion was amazing and shocking at the same time. It was such a shame that no photos were allowed or postcards of the interior available for sale.
I felt the tour was a little rushed, I would have liked a little more time in each room to look at all the artefacts.
Also the guide spoke very quickly and didn't seem to have passion for his work.

)verall a nice day trip to a couple of intresting locations. But the guide Coca was the best person on the trip .. he gave a lot of information about the history of ROmania and Bulgaria and made the trip very enjoyable
the Rock Monastary and the Fort we visited in Bulgaria was really intresting , sad taht it was too hot to enjoy the walk up and around the fort
But both the driver and the guide made the trip enjoybale specailly Coca the guide who even gave a small toy to my 5 years old son
