In our trip it was a destination that we had fixed to visit, it had been described as crowded, small, little to see and for us it was the opposite, we went early to take advantage of our vacation in other areas to leave and people accumulate later. They let you see practically the whole castle and the extra price (tunnel and t*rturamient*s) is not expensive at all and worth seeing and reading the history of each one. The outside is very nice and spacious and full of stalls and many cheaper than inside with the same products for sale....

The Palace of Parliament is an incredible structure, and we really appreciated our guide! She gave us historical highlights, showed us different rooms and explained their functions, and helped us understand a bit more about Bucharest. We appreciated how easily it was to book the experience, how efficient the process, and how helpful the staff was. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a great experience while visiting Belgrade!

The tourguide only brought us in the building, after which another guide took us on a tour through the building. She seemed inexperienced, barely knowing any detail of the rooms we were in. The tour lasted for only 45 minutes, which was shorter than I expected, but it felt like relief when we left due to our tour guide.

Granted you could not change it being 1/2 hr from 1 hr but there first should have been a price adjustment accordingly. The guide was too focused on "Romanian Philosophy" rather than describing the rooms and the appointments of them. One had to ask about things like the rugs and lights only to be rebuffed- 'Will get to that later" to then listen to 10 mkinutes of social philosphy which was meaningless.

Very nice experience. The walk from the Tour's office to the Parliament was just a couple of blocks. There was no wait in line at the Parliament. There guide was easy to understand in English but a bit hard to hear in some areas. The tour took about 1 hour. I wish I had more time to see the rest of the areas, if they were open for self-guided touring (I don't know, since we had to go meet a friend for lunch). I recommend it.

Our organizser, the brunette motorbiker woman was lovely and super cool, and also our guide Francisc - very charismatic and geek like, just awesome. We`ve seen only 5 % of the interior, in 1 hour..... For the beauty of it, we should do at least 2 hours, to cover a bit more. But anyway, good organisation and it`s definetly worthed. House of Parliament has a lot of surprises that you don`t quite expect from communists part. Thank you

The places, the guide who made himself available. I did not like the change of plans from the tickets for the castles that we had paid for and booked and instead we were told the day before that it was no longer possible to enter the castles with those tickets that we would have to redo them on our own and in fact we did not find a place in Peles but in Pelisiov. The 'bus that was previously supposed to pick us up at the hotel no longer came and we also learned this the day before.

The peles castle tour was interesting ,much less the bran one, I expected a lot more information from the guide because on the long drives you were silent. I think to make the tour more interesting you have to make it more interactive otherwise you risk remembering only the long drives and you forget the activities. I applaud the package I took that compared to the other competitors and the most comprehensive for the same price.

Aside from the tickets bought at 60€ each that did not reflect what it actually turned out to be, the poor guide had to give a tour for several people IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES, when we booked and paid for it in Italian. Experience not to be repeated.. I thank you though for admitting the error of the tickets and for the refund...I highly recommend that you fix that item regarding the entrance to the castles, otherwise you will have more refunds than reservations.

I booked this ticket because there were different pick up points possible and a start of the tour at 07.30am. In the confirmation message via whatsapp I received the news that there is only 1 pick up point possible and 1 starting time. I choose this organisation because of the different time slots and pick up points. So this was a big dissappointment. Luckily the organisation offered a full refund. The only downpart is that I have not received the refund so far. I hope this will turnout good. Otherwise I have lost a €57 for nothing.

I booked and paid in advance for transfers and tickets. I arrive in Bucharest on May 30 and in the early afternoon they write me that they are refunding my tkt for the castles because they no longer plan to provide this service. The visit was scheduled for early the next morning. Not only did I waste an hour of my afternoon on vacation trying to buy them back (I had just arrived at the spa) but I couldn't even do it because the systems were not working. Of the assistance, no one helped us, passing the responsibility of having to proceed with the purchase onto us. I asked for a refund for the entire excursion, still waiting. I have worked years in tourism never had such a crazy thing happen to me (as a supplier). I book a month in advance and pay, less than 24h they tell me they no longer offer the service. A scandal.

Staff at the office were friendly and our guide was very knowledgeable. Really appreciated the time spent before entering the castle explaining the past history of Romania and its current neighbours and how it was all relevant to Bran castle's reality, myth and its inhabitants over time.

On the guided tour of Bran Castle in Spanish, Daniela took care of us and it was a great experience. She was very friendly, approachable, with a great sense of humor and you could tell she really liked the history of her country, Romania. We recommend it 100%.

I was disappointed as it wasn't mentioned clearly that I'm paying for audio guide only and not the entry ticket and afterwards, I was disappointed again in the audio guide itself as it did not explain about the history of the fortress more but about the Dracula mith more than everything. The audio guide should present the rooms as we are walking thru and not stories about the book and it's author. Another thing I didn't like is that it didn't offer Romanian language...

Everything was absolutely perfect! The whole atmosphere was completely insane, it was the highlight of our holiday. We would definitely come back just for the spa. The facilities were amazing, it was so lovely to relax. It's a shame the massages sold out so quickly but we were so happy with how extensive the itinerary was and all the different activities offered that it really made up for missing a massive slot!

  • Peleș Castle lies in the foothills of the spectacular Bucegi Mountains and is one of the loveliest castles in Europe.
  • King Carol I fell in love with the gorgeous mountain scenery and decided to build his summer palace here.
  • The 19th-century castle is famous for its architecture that mixes Neo-Renaissance and Gothic Revival.
  • Interestingly, Peleș Castle came to be the first in the world to be fully powered by locally produced electricity.
  • The castle served as a resting place for Romanian cultural personalities during the communist regime.
  • It only reopened to the public (as a museum) in 1989, after the revolution.
  • Follow an expert local tour guide through the fairytale castle and soak in the luxurious atmosphere.
  • Skip the lines and check out the huge 4,000-piece weaponry collection from Europe and Asia on display in the Weapons Room.
  • Gasp at the elegantly decorated frescoes in the movie theater - these were designed by the iconic Austrian artists Gustav Klimt and Franz von Matsch.
  • Fun fact: the first movie projection in Romania is reported to have taken place in this room.
  • In the Music Room, admire the beautiful pieces of teak furniture that were gifted by the Indian Maharajah of Kapurthala.
  • Stroll past the themed rooms, including the Florentine, Turkish, Moorish, and French rooms, all of which are ornately furnished and decorated.
  • The most ornate of these rooms is the Imperial Suite, built as a tribute to the Austrian Emperor, Franz Joseph I.
  • It features a 500-year-old Cordoban tooled leather wall cover that is well-preserved to this day.
  • This tour is conducted in English.

We had one of the best tour guides ever. She was so sweet, full of information, and tried to guide us through as much as possible in terms of history, architecture, culture, etc. We had a great time despite the bad weather! The only problem that we had with the tour is that it wasn't a "Skip-the-line" ticket - we had to be at the queue and wait for about 25 minutes for the huge groups to pass inside.

The process is easy. Irina, my guide, is personable, pleasant, and extremely knowledable about the Castle. In addition you could tell she is passonate about her job. That rubs off. This was the first guided tour I've ever taken and this experience has sold me. Highly recommend this tour.

Our guide contacted us prior to our arrival at Pele's Castle, ckarified our meeting point and near by parking opportunities. When we arrived she was at the meeting point and ready to go. Very informative and full of local stories to enhance the history surrounding the castle's owners, occupants and meaning within local culture. Would definitely recommend Head Out tours for Pele's Castle.

The tour was excellent and well-organized. The bus was clean and punctual. Our guide, Sonia, was fantastic! She provided a detailed explanation of the itinerary and ensured everyone understood the meeting point and return time. During the drive to the salt mine, she shared interesting information about the historic buildings we passed and the city's history. We also requested a favor on the return trip, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. I highly recommend this tour!

Apart from initial misdirection to the meeting point, the trip was comfortable, the driver/guide was knowledgeable, helpful and able to field all questions thrown at him. The mine itself was most impressive and the staff are well trained in moving the maximum number of visitors in the minimum of time. All in all, a very smooth operation.
